The idea behind A Gift Inside

Too good to use just once.

Our plywood packaging was designed to protect our models during transport. But we wanted the material to have a purpose beyond the moment of unpacking — so the wood could become something useful, rather than simply be thrown away.

Our designers found a creative answer: shapes for another model, cut into the plywood itself. Once the first model is unpacked, the packaging can be taken apart and its pre-cut pieces turned into a new object.

That is what DIY means to us: spending a little time creating, working with your hands and enjoying the satisfaction of making something yourself.

From package to project

Unpack. Cut. Sand. Create.

The shapes are already prepared in the plywood. You release the pieces, smooth the edges and bring them together.

What was a protective package is now a new object — and a little time spent creatively. The model inside depends on the project you choose, so the result can become a useful detail in your home or garden.

Keep the natural plywood finish, or add your own touch with a suitable wood paint or oil. The enjoyment is in the process as much as in the finished piece.

DIY projects are available separately, as pre-cut plywood sheets with a small pack of wood glue, inside an outer cardboard package.

Selected projects can also be chosen as a paid packaging option for compatible antler decorations. The plywood protects the antler first, then becomes your chosen DIY model. Standard protective packaging is included by default; available DIY options and prices are shown on the product page.
